We are Research Group in Computational Astrophysics within the Space Research Center (CINESPA) of the University of Costa Rica. We are working on a variety of topics including star formation, stellar evolution and neutron stars, using state-of-the art simulations. The name of our group, bë´iwä´, means "star" in the Chirripó Cabecar language (Chirripó is also the name of the tallest mountain in Costa Rica).
